Beach Walk #320 – Women and Men

Two Hawaiian words today - wahine and kane. Plus, we share more things than it would appear.
I am not really intending to lump all men and women into one generic pot. But like I mentioned in the football episode, I'd rather see us lumped by actual preferences than by some stereotype applied to whole groups of unrelated people!

Yes, you're right about what naturally comes to mind when "shopping" or "athletic" is brought up. A while back, I was invited to go on a trip with my friend's Jiu Jitsu dojo to see the fights. We were meeting in front of the dojo to get on the chartered bus. When I got there, my friend wasn't there yet, but there was this really attractive young lady standing around with the bunch of guys that were there. I automatically assumed that she was somebody's girlfriend.
I figured that she was along for the ride to cheer on her BF and whomever else she happened to know through him.
So my friend shows up and recognizes her. It turns out that she's NOT somebody's girlfriend (I mean, she probably IS, but it's not relevant to this story
), but she actually TRAINS at my friend's dojo, AND she's a blue belt in Jiu Jitsu! :O
Good thing I didn't try to flip her, huh? That wouldn't have worked out very well for me!

Good thing you didn't Bill, although it would have made a great story!
