Beach Walk #321 – Working Together

You Hawaiian word today - hui. Working well together requires acceptance of our own idiosyncrasies.

Hui is one of my favorite Hawaiian words. It's fun to say, and it means a whole wide notion of togetherness and collaboration. In my world, the best collaborations occur when each person knows their strengths and weaknesses, and the team agrees to support each member towards a common goal.

The lifeguard stand at Kaiua has been washed out by the winter storms. You can see the remnants in today's show.

The canoe I mentioned from Lanikai Canoe Club is HuiHuiAkolea.

With whom do you hui?
