		<description>From what I read about the mainstream music industry, musicians under contract to big companies make very little from sales of recorded music (digital or otherwise). It&#039;s the companies that make the lion&#039;s share of the profit. Those musicians make money by performing, because they&#039;re the only ones that can be themselves.  With the revolution taking place in artist-published content, though, that equation might change. We can only hope!</description>

		<description>I love contemporary Hawaiian music and agree that it&#039;s under-appreciated outside of the islands.  It&#039;s funny you should mention kanikapila.  My family is kind of musical and one of the things we would do sometimes is play around together on the guitar or piano.  It was always best when my great-uncle Mariano visited because he can play the ukulele.</description>
