Maybe it's my age but I just can't get enough of exclaiming how much opportunity there is right now. To create, to try new things, to communicate your message. And at the same time, old dysfunctional systems are crumbling. These really are dramatic changes!
Don't like how someone of authority is handling something? Then do it yourself, your way, like Carlos Urreta and friends are doing with Fort Street Pulse blog. Or sit back and watch how the police no longer automatically give cover to high profile people who misbehave.
Have an utterly frivolous idea about cats? Then start a site like I Can Has Cheezburger. Local guy Eric runs the site, which is less than a year old and already written up in Time magazine.
Hawaiian Word:
Loli: change, transformation
